"Carnell International Tours" of Sheffield. Couldn't get a definite read on the plate - seems POO 639M, but the Os could be C or G and numbers might be 538 or similar mix. Immediately followed by a 2nd Carnell coach with what looks like "Panorama Elite II" badging

There are quite a number of vehicles listed under Carnell Sheffield, who appear to have had a mixed taste in suppliers from Bedford to Kassbohrer, but none match the plate or its possible variants. Apparently the firm went into liquidation after the miner's strike. Panorama Elite is a Plaxton name.

I'd go with that. Obviously the list in Bus Lists on the Web isn't exhaustive.

Searching for an operator on BLOTW only returns vehicles bought new by them. It must indeed be PDO 639M, which was a Duple Dominant-bodied Volvo B58-56 new to Elsey's Coaches, Gosberton in May 1974.
