Now, who identifies this one? I'll add some more pictures later ... -- Last edit: 2007-05-11 23:16:32 |

The small pic of a car stereo looks like a US GM product from the 1980's. I'll guess mid-80's Chevrolet Caprice |

Joe, it seems you are the only one with knowledge about car stereos! Okay, here are the main and some more small pictures. There is no view of the complete car, but I think Chevrolet Caprice [9C1] (1987) is correct. |

It being a 9C1 is just a guess, you can't be sure of it. For all we know, it might even be an Impala. |

I'd say it's an '85 from the lack of a CHMSL and it's newer than '83 since it has a digital radio. I'd say it's an '84 or '85. Since it has a tape deck with equalizer, I would rule out it being a 9C1. Most likely a Caprice. |

Interior too "nice" to be a Police car(9C1)as well?? That, and the trim on the B-post says fairly well optioned Caprice Classic,1985 is my guess? |

Do we have a majority for Chevrolet Caprice Classic (1985)? PS: Is the chassis code 9C1 only used for police cars? |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9C1 We have in the database some cars identified as being "9C1" though that they are not painted in police colors. We should maybe not include that as "chassis" code as it is more a "trim level". Though that includes some "important" changes made to the car, I guess. -- Last edit: 2007-05-13 23:59:02 |
