It is the military version of the Land-Rover Santana 109" called 'Militar' and launched in 1970. Here it is equipped with an ambulance body. |

Maybe there has been a discussion about this issue before (in that case I apologize for bothering), but isn't Santana the make and Land-Rover 109" Militar the model? I remember that I've seen Santanas in Spain proudly showing their name above the grille and on the rear door. Same question for Land-Rovers built by e.g. Minerva, Jeeps, by Hotchkiss or Mitsubishi, Fiat 600 by Seat, NSU-Fiat or Zastava, etc. etc. |

In the beginning it was Land-Rover Santana. ![]() In later years, with greater model independence and the involvement of Nissan, the Land-Rover name was dropped. |
