Skywatcher68 wrote Was watching a 1963 episode and they had one guest who had the same wife and same car for 50 years. The car's make is Regal, which would be new for the site. Grabbed these shots from a YouTube video.

Approximate year (1963 - 50 years), can be modified if identified more reliably

I have been in amongst my books and looked at this company.

They had a location in Detroit, and went into subsidiaries in Canada in Walkerville Ontario and later Berlin, now known as Kitchener, again in Ontario.

Georgano says that "These were conventional five passenger touring cars powered by a 30hp" (Lycoming?) "engine and selling for $1250." Their most distinctive car was the Underslung, with the chassis passing below the axles, but this, I think, may be one of the 30hp cars, the styling and lack of electric lighting suggests a date of between 1908 and 1915 as being the most likely. The first cars were built in 1907, but "They were evidently not very satisfactory, for the following year the company took them all back and gave the customers a new 1908 model free of charge."

The Canadian operation closed in 1916, the American operation "was running down at this time as well", and although a post WW1 six cylinder model was announced in 1919, all production ended in 1920.

The only mention of the firm in my 1922 copy of Dyke's Encyclopedia, is that the throttle and ignition lever on the steering column moves upwards to open the throttle and advance the ignition, (Page 496), the index refers to a specification for the car on page 546, but there isn't one to be found there.

The condition of the car pictured with its proud owner suggests that it hadn't been used much.

Correct. He drove it from Hagerstown, MD, to Atlantic City for their honeymoon but most of its life had been as a parade car.

According to this, it's episode #575. Don't know how that translates into S#E#.
