wonder myself, dozens of trucks with no cab visible |

Presumably because it's visible in the film, therefore someone might be interested in it. Probably identifiable if someone knows what was used in the film or is on the ball about classic truck availability for filming in SE England in mid-80s or goes to classic truck events. |

In my view, it is a waste of rations. |

Firstly almost certainly the truck still exists. If it lasted 70 years its still around now. The actual truck is almost certainly seen in photographs, at shows or a museum. However the colour and or livery could have changed. There are visible identifiable features, probably more so than on a modern truck, front axle shape, wheels and mudguards that can be checked against photographs of a truck viewed from the front. |

can you claim the same for all this trucks in the list or you agree many could go ? Link to "imcdb.opencommunity.be" -- Last edit: 2014-07-11 17:09:02 |

Agreed there are many where there is absolutely no identifying features to be seen and the truck body is so common that it should be moved to comments if it is part of the movie, or deleted if background and of no interest. -- Last edit: 2014-07-11 17:54:29 |

Is there a war on? When will the potatoes be rationed? It's prominent in this scene and should be here... It might be identified later from other sources. |

Maybe in the very near future if the Middle East guys stop the oil flowing. |

I agree not much to go on but there are not that many trucks of that era still in existence and someone will know what it is. |
