This might be more likely a 68 model. I remember reading many years ago, that for a time the tax code for vehicles in Great Britain used the cylinder bore as part of the formula. In which case an eight would be slightly cheaper to register given it has a smaller (3¼ vs 3½) bore when compared to the six cylinder engine. |

For 1948, Glass's lists 66, 76, 68 and 78 all as Dynamic plus 98 Futuramic. Nothing on available body versions, and I sometimes get the impression with 40s and 50s US stuff they just list everything available in US on the basis that someone in UK could special order from full range without there really being a specified selection for UK. |
