Isn't a 'Special' badge on the boot? |

I had some sense of deja-vu seeing the images, looks like a sort of product placement: https://youtu.be/mBNYv4reHsY It's possible that they've used two different cars for the same role? |

Great find, ElSaxo! It's exactly the same sequence, you're right But I doubt it's a product placement... this movie is from 1979 and there was already the series II on sale although considering the detailed filming of the car I initially thought it too |

Well, why not? Long and main role in the movie, plus "acrobatic" and "positive" scene even made by Fiat and surely provided for free = in my opinion, 99% sure it's a product placement. I don't think that the different version was a main issue, I ain't sure how many will have noticed the difference on a cinematographic screen... |

Could be. when I'm back home later I'll try to give a look to the credits if there is something about this... |

I think so. |

On main pic is "base" version, so it should be named according to it. I think it was not product placement, perhaps they used footages with stunts from the advert to cut costs. |
