By what is seen of the side trim ( it doesn't have a recessed red reflector ) it's a 1968 model year car. As far as I know, the MkII was not used in the Austin America. Nevertheless, it was based on it. |

As I previously said, although the Austin America was based on the Austin 1300 MkII, it was a model apart with particular specifications. The documentation about this model only refers to it as Austin America with differences according to model years, but without any Mk reference. |
