Didn't the 1986 have flush "composite" headlights? I'm thinking more 1984-85 |

No, '87 was the first year of the composite headlights. 1984 were still on the RWD platform. This is an '85-'86. |

So then it's a 1985 since the movie has been shot then ![]() -- Last edit: 2008-04-17 19:44:30 |

A 1986 in a 1985 film? Or is 1986 the first year of the new design? -- Last edit: 2008-04-18 05:46:11 |

Movie was released in october '85 so if they used a brand-new '86 model and made these scenes at the end, it is possible, but indeed 1985 model year is maybe more probable... |

That's what I tried to point out in the comment above yours ![]() |

The only way to tell an '85 from an '86: The 85's had black bumper rub-strips, the 86's had grey rub-strips The '86 Devilles got the smaller back window that was only on Fleetwoods in '85 So in fact, the car pictured is a 1985 Fleetwood. -- Last edit: 2008-04-18 21:58:29 |

It's simple. The Eldorado and the Seville are 85's at the lastest so the Deville would definitely be and 85 as well. |

What is the point of that scene did the black bad guy just deside to take a joyride while killing the non importand guys i the movie or was the car sales man the target ? it is a little hard for me to see the sales man as a meber of a bad ass military unit lead by a guy with a so awsome last name that a movie was named after it ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2012-12-26 22:30:10 |
