This looks like it's rear(mid)-engined with 'gullwing' style engine cover

I'm convinced it's a Subaru Leone Coupe - that 'gullwing' may belong to a car behind. There's no other gullwing car that fits, not even a painted DeLorean.

The list of cars with "gullwing" doors is quite limited.

I agree that they could he those of the car behind.

I wonder if it is something more upmarket?? That looks like either a Lamborghini Espada on the left and a 911 Porsche on the right. Maybe something to match??

That was my idea too, as said above 'Gull-wing' style ENGINE cover ...Not doors.!) I can't see any car behind it (no room or reflection on the ground, you can see the light)
This is the count's (christopher Lee) stable of super cars, why would he have a subaru in the middle of a lambo and porsche?

The shot is so blurry it's hard to say what it is exactly..

Whatever it is it has twin headlights and a big open grille with the badge in dead centre and is the same height as the Espada and lower than the 911. Could be some limited production model. The only car I can think of that had that style of engine cover was the proposed Pontiac Firebird 'wagon' in the '70s. Otherwise the 'gullwing' thing is some sort of optical illusion.

Maybe we should ignore that 'thing' whatever it is. The nearest thing I can come up with is Iso Fidia - an early version - 1968??.

I see what you mean: http://www.novaweb.fr/pub/maj/annonces/photos/A13941.jpg

It's a big old motor though!

What about these Lancias?

Probably if I saw the movie on a wide screen I would pick it! But I dare say I would have to be quick and not blink!

There is an Iso Fidia lives not too far from me - same colour as that link as it happens. I think it is 1969 - it has an Iso-modified 327 in it. It is quite a low car.

So finally do we consider it as a Maserati Kyalami (cf /vehicle_109509-De-Tomaso-Deauville.html) or do we keep it as unknown?

Still inconclusive: http://storm.tocmp.com/maserati/kyalami/Maserati%20Kyalami%201.jpg

Latest suggestion: Iso Revolta S4: Link to "images.google.co.uk"

Just thought I would give you some useful info on the above photo. The cars used were the Colt Gallant, with built up wings on the back of the cars. The man sitting in the photo is David Carradine, and the photo was taken at the Kilarmy Lipazzana Stables in Johannesburg South Africa. How do I know you may ask, well I worked on the film with David and Christopher Lee and Stockard Channing, thats how I know.

Try a Fiat Moretti eg http://www.ritzsite.nl/Fiat_Dino/Moretti_GS/01_Little_Dino.htm - it's about the right size (much smaller than a Fidia for instance as previously suggested) and has a similar wingline descending in front of the wheels like a Fiat Dino.

After six years of looking, I think this is a DeTomaso Mangusta: www.carsbase.com/photo/photo_full.php?id=82976
