W 114/115, 1968+. It is not a Diesel by the trunk figure. So, it may be 200, 220, 230, 250 or 280. |

It has a plain rear light glass, hence 1968-73. Then: - The rear bumper is not streched to the wheel arch which should exclude the 280. - It has no double bumper at front which should exclude the 230 and 250 models. As all the six-cylinders are excluded, only the [W 115] 200 and 220 remains. |

What is it with Germans and beige? My C-class is called beige, it is the second least popular colour for the model, especially when combined with the beige interior. If they had called it champagne gold or silica bronze or something they might have sold a few more. Beige in the U.K. is associated with the plastic of hearing aids and the interiors of retirement homes. Why did I buy it? Well, I am the right age, it matches my curtains and there was a little matter of £4,000 discount. I have been looking at replacing it and have recently seen a black Infiniti QX30 with a black interior and black rear windows, that's not just retirement home, it's chapel of rest. And.....don't even mention washing machine white. -- Last edit: 2017-03-16 09:12:54 |
