In Jales image it appears to have a badge on the left side of the tailgate. That would indicate GMC Sierra, not Chevy. |

That would then also mean a 1992+ model (the size and location of the 1988-91 rear badges were different, making the tailgate looking more like the Chevrolet version). But is the badge in Jale's thumb really the Sierra one that one may expect at this location? It looks a bit too long and too thin, for me... (Click...) Whatever the make, this pickup has an extended cab (named Club Coupe, if a pre-1997 GMC pickup) with a short Fleetside / Wideside bed, meaning either a 1500 or a 2500 model: (1992 GMC Sierra brochure - Excerpt // 1995 Chevrolet C/K-Series brochure - Excerpt) -- Last edit: 2017-03-16 02:32:56 |

Really different for me, when comparing side by side But Ok... This said, the Wideside box style was the standard one since the end of the 1960s, is it really useful to note it? -- Last edit: 2017-03-18 08:55:21 |

might be the blur that causes that visual effect.. as for the bed style, i don't think it is that useful i personally note it only when it is the other kind ( have a little memory break right now... ) |

To help your memory lapses: • 1958 → 1987: Fenderside; • 1988 (or was it unveiled in 1989 only?) → 2006/7? : Sportside. |

Thanks , i'm always having Stepside in mind ( Ford ? ) |

@Baube: Stepside is Chevrolet's name for the Fenderside bed. The 1988/9+ version was also called Sportside. Ford uses (used?) Flareside (equivalent of Fenderside / Stepside) and Styleside (similar to Wide-Side / Fleetside). |

K-1500. Aluminum wheels were not offered on 2500/3500 weight class. 1995+ for hidden lug nuts on GMC. |
