Indeed, they were made as middle trim level only in the Australia market up until the 1960s. But, did they just sold as just "Chevrolet" instead of "Chevrolet Two-Ten" in the Australian market? :think:

Yes, I think Chevs were initially just sold as Chevs. I think they began being sold as "Bel-Air" from around 1959.

Indeed, the Bel Air trim level started there in the Australia market when GM introduced the 1959 Chevrolet Impala as the top of the line.
