USA spec 1973-79 Volkswagen Camper. |

If a camper, it would be re-sprayed. Doesn't look that way anymore Could also be a 1973-77 (fuel filler not visible) Station Wagon with a camping gear fitted later (doesn't seem like original, from what's visible) |

@ tore-40: The Station Wagon identification isn't more sure as the 2-tone color could also be a later addition, all the more as the bumpers should then have a rubber strip. For me, the 1974+ Westfalia roof seems to be a genuine one, and so are the louver windows, both details making it more a 1974+ Campermobile than a 1973+ Station Wagon... |

Then, please change it by all means, it could be either type. I put 'could' to start a discussion, without editing the listing first. I think someone did that just before your answer |

Yeah, I clicked to 'Post your comment' button after eLMeR did. It was not there when I visited the page at first |

Welcome to my world, that's happened to me a few times on here |

I changed it, as according to the end of your comment ("doesn't seem like original, from what's visible") I thought it was more likely a Station Wagon, but we can list it as Westfalia then if it is probably that. |

@antp: Surely, a camper is the most obvious, so stick to that. But I believe these were sold as Standard/Pop-Up Top/Deluxe Campmobile, even if made by Westfalia (And other combinations, like the later Campmobile Bus, but by default a Campmobile listing would do just fine) |

Indeed, each time I put Westfalia as model, see that none is listed that way, then fix it... but this time I forgot to check |
