Are other Van derived Minibus listed as Van or Bus? Anyway does the VIN give the power output? To state if a 2.8 D, TD i.d. or JTD. |

Answering your questions in order. 1. Not sure  I know with Ford Econoline we only classify as a bus when school/prison. Normally the Club Wagon (type of bus variant) is still listed as a Van/MPV. Probably the same here.2. See above. I believe a 2.8 D? Also, Not so sure all of the Fiats utilize [230]. Well, I'd think it's better to leave as Van here, too. Anyway, there were three types of 2.8 diesel in 1999, a naturally aspirated 2.8 D, the turbo with direct injection 2.8 TD i.d. and the common rail 2.8 JTD. The decoder says just 2.8 diesel without specifing. The side badge looks long enough for 2.8 TD i.d. or JTD but I can't see it very well.Edit: Well, Gamer said 2.8 TD, so I believe this is a 2.8 TD i.d. About codes, what I know is: [280] for 1982-1990 1a serie [290] for 1990-1994 1a serie restyling [230] for 1994-2002 2a serie [244] for 2002-2006 2a serie restyling [250] for 2006-2014 3a serie [295] should be 2014+ I'll research further, maybe we'll just need to run some Russian plates for each generation [290] of your link would correspond with a late first generation restyling indeed, whereas for the other one I don't know, maybe there is something wrong..from what I know these codes don't change depending on weight class or chassis type..
