It appears to have the newer mirrors. Can anyone brighten up the image? |

Baube does it appear to have the 1996+ red tail lights or does it appear amber? I am leaning toward 1996+ but does that mean Econoline or E-Series? |

not fuly sure about the tail lights. amber turn signal was there only from 1992 to 1994 but front seems to be the 1992-2007 one..without a grille shot we can't really tell if 1992-1996, 1997-2002 or 2003-2007 were the mirror you're talking about used on the 2003-2007 ones ? -- Last edit: 2017-06-27 19:20:48 |

1996+ taillights, the little I can see of the mirrior is the 1992-2002 one. Has the pre 2003 bumper as well. Has the 1997+ front turn signals as well. So it's 1997+ Ford E-Series. |

Thanks. When did Ford change from Econoline to E-series? I can't find good information through google. |

that's one of the automotive history's grey spots.. wiki says 2001 for USA and 1995 for Canada ( while being said in my books the name disappeared for 2003 , 2002 book still names it Econoline.. ) of course, we could send a e-mail to Ford and ask them but we might get an useless answer like i did had about that Grand Marquis thing ... ( in Mercury i trust. ) -- Last edit: 2017-07-11 11:30:28 |

"Econoline" was changed to E-Series for the 1999 model year (the van/truck chassis would be referred to it's weight capacity such as E-150, E-250, E-350, E-450 and E-550.) "Club Wagon" also got dropped for the 1999 model year as well. |

Link to "www.trucktrend.com" here Truck Trend ( which is Motor Trend's truck magazines , says 2002, both not specified if it is only for US market or if it includes canadian one.... ( you have to scroll down to under 4th gen's mechanical changes ) adds more fog to the story... |
