the molding of rear end makes me wonder if it is more likely a 1965 model, perhaps a Coronet ? http://momentcar.com/images/dodge-coronet-1965-10.jpg Link to "www.fotosdecarros.com" but there seems to be a trimline/molding going to the rear bumper not to be found on Coronet? Interesting, it is non of the 1963 full size models: Polara 330 440 etc. although seems to share the complete upper structure, so it is kind of full size interims model missing ornament or vents on C-pillar and bowed molding on rear wings for e.g. |

The 1965 Dodge Coronet/Plymouth Belvedere used the same basic body as the 1963-1964 Dodge 330/440/Polara. Since this TV series regularly used brand new Chrysler products and this episode is from 1965, a '65 Coronet/Belvedere is a good place to start looking. It is a two-door pillared sedan, so clearly a basic model. You were right, andrepa. The upholstery and trim match a base model Coronet perfectly: Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" |
