But what is it, Fiat or Iveco |

Seems '619' is on the grill, yes. But the make? There was a disscusion about this cab last time /vehicle_94879-Fiat-190-NT-1975.html , but how it was in Argentina and with such different 'Iveco' badge? -- Last edit: 2007-03-27 17:55:31 |

I suppose that we should list it as Iveco Fiat like these: /vehicles_make-Iveco+Fiat.html (though that I am not sure that they should really carry the two names) |

Ok, I still don't know how it is with this one (if Iveco badge is original), but I've found an old brochure and trucks labeled this way /vehicle_84579-Iveco-Fiat-190-T-1978.html should be listed just as Fiat. Others with big Iveco logo and small Fiat - /vehicle_21138-Iveco-Fiat-160-NC-1982.html rather as Iveco-Fiat (same like Iveco-Magirus). -- Last edit: 2018-07-01 17:59:53 |

Rare 619 NT('cause tractor),made near Argentinian plants of ex-Fiat-Concord(later Sevel Argentina),which started truck production down there since 1969(the 619 NT was already built in Italy since 1970,in Argentina local production starts around 1971--rather than in Italy,in South-America they retains for much more longtime the original grille of early Seventies','cause Fiat "made in Argentina"trucks follows a different evolution respect corrispective Italian ones with similar names) PS Unknown if late ones had carried also in Argentina Iveco-Fiat double-badging like in Italy |

I think yes, there where also trucks called Iveco-OM (/vehicle_84703-Iveco-OM-55-1977.html), so Iveco-Fiat does not seems strange. I would call this a Iveco-Fiat too... See also info on this page: /vehicle.php?id=94541 -- Last edit: 2007-03-28 11:32:10 |

After a bit of research, had find the right name of that Iveco-Fiat truck made in Argentina:was a 619 T3 EA(619 NT was while name of Italian-built counterpart),which former ones were only Fiat-badged,probably Iveco name added on later models in Argentina--in Italy the identical 619 NT was built thru 1970 to 1975 with Fiat Badge only, after 1975 to 1977 with Iveco-Fiat Badges;in Argentina that model seems lasted at least until early Eighties'in local production--and the one depicted could be just of those years,'cause "IVECO"on grille was with the graphism of Brand adopted in Europe on their trucks since 1980--erasing use of the small"I"tag,a day placed or at centre or on one side of grille) Read also here: /vehicle_97214-Unknown.html -- Last edit: 2007-04-02 00:34:14 |
