Strange to see such a white truck in 1950s film. |

Any ideas what sort of Superpoise?? Maybe a Q15???? We need to do a sorting-out-of-names amongst our Superpoises. Several are listed as Superpoise [Qx], but we also have batches as Qx Superpoise. Which is the best name?? |

This is a "Mk I" version, introduced in1939. It had a range of capacities from 1 1/2 to 5 tons, starting at Q15. This looks like twin rear wheels so I would think it's a bigger one. Try this: - http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p895410596 -- Last edit: 2016-09-13 12:43:15 |

Twin wheels confirmed. This Q4 looks similar, but I don't really know what's what with these. |

Longer wheelbase I believe (153" rather than 120") so Q3 3-ton, Q4 4-5 ton or Q6 6-ton; all visually the same I think. Q4 would be a good assumption here I guess. |

This is the first in the Superpoises introduced in 1939, but Mk.I was assigned to the 1949 restyled cab (followed by MkII to MkIV etc) Effectively its 'pre-Mk.I' by some Rootes Group numbering logic. |
