Was this the last of the use of the Chev Caprice by the LAPD?, I ask as we do see a lot of Crown Vics and not many of the Caprices, well, not many of this model year anyways. |

The funnt thing is that in the first scene is a Crown Vic... And when it does the J-Turn is a Caprice... |

Not the worst I've seen. I remember an episode of Third Watch where during a chase the police car kept switching between an Impala and a Crown Victoria. |

Super Troopers does the same thing, when Mac calls in the local smokey's car as a "White Caprice" when its obviously a Crown Vic. |

The worst instance of that I ever saw was in the movie "Demolition High", which featured a late-'80s Caprice 9C1 which gets shot at, turning into an early '80s Plymouth Gran Fury for the bullet strikes, and then explodes, turning into a late '70s Dodge St. Regis. All within the space of a few seconds of screen time. ![]() -- Last edit: 2011-07-01 04:02:12 |

Another one (Go to about 3.30 in this clip): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB2m9Bg4OlQ If you look carefully you will notice when they first show interior of the police car it is the Rover 800 that appears later on rather than the Vauxhall Omega they show the outside of. However, when the two police men get shot they show the right interior (open rather than closed headrests) for the Omega. |

Light bar very 80's, makes LAPD look very old-fashioned. |
