How about something Romanian? The truck's cab doesn't look for Mercedes/FAP, in fact it reminds me the Romanian DAC 665 T (or similar).
I suspect some scenes were filmed in Romania.

That's why I thought it was rather Yugoslavian. However, Yugoslavia imported some Romanian equipment, like TAB's, and the cab looks very DACian indeed.
