Member toml24 writes: "toml24" wrote From about 1958 through 1964 there was a 1954 Ford Mainline Sedan (ed. note: '53 Customline is correct) that was hanging about 30 feet up from a pole in front of Les Bacon and Son's Ford on Sepulveda Blvd. in Hermosa Beach, CA. The dealership sponsored the local jalopy races on KTLA-5 television and was known for their over-the-top commercials such as "GET OFF THAT COUCH AND GET ON DOWN HERE!!" The car on the pole was a fixture I enjoyed every time we were driving by. The Bacon family has no photos of the car on the pole and so far no one else has shown what they have.
