It's either a 55 Super or Roadmaster...built on the larger "C" body. |

Actually this is a 1955 2door Buick Special, black with white top. I owned the vehicle during the movie shoot and still own it today. The car is all original, with 45,200 miles on it. |

I actually drove that car to take my good friend, his wife and two daughters to the younger daughter's wedding. The limousines followed us but no car shone as much as this '55 Buick. I believe it's for sale by "Pags" if anyone is interested in this piece of Americana. This is the same model of Buick used by Broderick Crawford in the TV Series, "Highway Patrol." It's automatic and spotless. |
