C'est une Dodge de 1950. Probablement l'entrée de gamme "Wayfarer". |

Not a Dodge Wayfarer but either a middle-series Dodge Meadowbrook or top series Coronet on the 123.5 inches wheelbase of 1950 .Difference between the Meadowbrook and the Coronet could only be sorted out by having a side view of the car .Wayfarers were smaller( 115 inches wheelbase) and had a slightly different roof line. The car here is missing the Dodge script and shield on the front of the hood. |

Being a Police car, is it more likely to be a Meadowbrook? Or how should we put it? -- Last edit: 2005-11-13 11:04:21 |

I have never heard of a Meadowbrook model for Dodge. |

Behind it is the same Pontiac from one of the first scenes where Henry's mother asks him to bring back milk. |

Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t all NYPD cars from this era two doors? |
