It seems that the passenger-side mirror was an option (for a small expense, as with all VWs) - but mandatory in Norway, along with repeaters and mudflaps (not visible here). |

in Sweden, too. (the right mirror and the mudflaps, not the side indicator. But the mudflaps were special larger S-unique parts. In Germany a right mirror was mandatory, when a trailer-coupling was mounted. -- Last edit: 2015-11-30 22:48:36 |

No, not for common Wagons as a Ford Turnier or VW Variant, only for delivery-/panel-van-versions, where the inner mirror isn't usable. |

Due to the intended use of the additional space in the back, it has to be assumed that the inner mirror isn't usable. - Therefore the mirror is/was mandatory. Have you ever seen a wagon without a second wing mirror (in Europe)? |
