Looks like a 1969 Mk2 Austin Cooper S, very neatly detailed. |

A true Cooper S would have bumper overriders. I don't recognize the badge on the hood because Mk IIs were never imported into the USA, but I do know that the grille looks like it belongs on a Morris Cooper, not Austin, and there's a bit too much negative camber on the front wheels. |

Only the Austin and Morris Cooper S Mk1 had different format grilles between makes - both Mk2s shared same grille as here, which continued into the short-lived 1970 Mini (as make) Mk3 Cooper S as well. The colour split in this badge is correct for Austin Cooper S - Morris was fully silver background. Agree would have had over-riders originally and Mk2s were never officially imported to US, however they were sold in CDN which took Minis until about 1974. |
