Yes, similar trim to one of my many cars not previously mentioned, TKE 903R, a 1976 2-litre L estate bought second hand at a period when I paid for my own cars. It was deep bronze with fawn interior and did a good job of transporting five adults, a baby and a Sprite Major on holidays even when it had well over 100k miles on it. The wheel trims look a bit sexier on the subject car, GL or Ghia? Once I was able to choose my own cars, I never again bought anything from Rootes, the traditional models were going replaced by the dreadful Simca based junk. The troubles we had with Dad's Chrysler 2-litre! When he died Mother immediately got rid and bought a new Escort Ghia. My f-i-l bought the Chrysler off her because it was cheap, and his Wolseley was dying, so I had to keep the spanners for further use. -- Last edit: 2015-08-04 08:46:26 |
