It was given a new 1968cc ohv four cylinder engine that would later be expanded as a 6-cylinder engine for the Daimler Conquest and later Regency models. The body was also new, designed by Barkers and initialled panelled steel over wooden frames, but from 1952 it was all steel. From 1952 it was sold as the 'Leda' in export markets.
