1936-1938 Dodge (or less likely Plymouth) Link to "oldcarraffles.com" http://www.users.miamioh.edu/pechanmj/Dodge/Dodge2.jpg (this pic shows that the mounting point for the headlight matches) |

If not a 1937-38 Plymouth PT, a 1936-38 Dodge Fore-Point pick-up indeed. Which means either a 1936 L-Series, a 1937 M-Series or a 1938 R-Series. I (want to?) see the high opening grille of a 1936-37 model in achiu31's thumbnail, not the smaller oval one of a 1938 model: (1936 L-Series // 1937 M-Series // 1938 R-Series) As ½-ton pickup (a ¾-/1-ton model would have more vertical reinforcement bars on the bed side), it was sold as Commercial Express: (1936 Dodge Commercial cars brochure excerpt) ⇒ 1936 Dodge Commercial Express? (As ½-ton model it also had the C model code: LC, MC or RC depending on the year. But as 1936 is here given as default model year, I think that giving this code would not be accurate) |
