Never seen something like that. Has slight overtones of a 1955 Chrysler 300. Could it be a custom body or a one-off on a European - most likely Italian - chassis? -- Last edit: 2007-03-05 14:24:17 |

Looks too small for a Chrysler 300, looks more european in size, possibly something with a Chrysler engine, but still... |

hmmm, I have been wrecking my brain on this one... it is definitely European, too small for a US make (well most of them anyway), Renault first came to mind, but that would be mid/rear engined, which this isn't (no air intakes on sides or rear) but I seem to remember some Alfa Romeo's with a similar radiator grille done by coachbuilders (Bertone is my first candidate, as the grille echoes the BAT5 and 7 showcars and the 250 GT done by Guigiaro while in service of Bertone). Also the general proportions seem to fit the Giulietta models -- Last edit: 2008-06-26 17:37:27 |

I've posted this pic on Autopuzzles.com and a specialist identified it. It's a 1953 Fiat 1100 Spyder with a body by Allemano, apparently on a Michelotti design. This one has a different bumper who may have replaced, but this is the car. http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=4596.msg28837#msg28837 |
