well I see now on imdb, that Ford Fairlane is the main dudes name :lol: - that is something like Harley-Davidson and the Marlboro Man - we did not gave 5 stars to HD there... I am taking my previous comment back :)

Yes, Ford Fairlane is the name of the Character. The car was ALMOST a 5 star, but not quite
Also IMDB claims the car destroyed was not a real 57 Skyliner, but a fibreglass copy.

I'll drink to that, even if they most likely did not destroy a real Skyliner. I was messing around with a 1:32 Franklin Mint model at the Mall of America as a little kid once and dropped the car, smashing a number of collectible plates in the process. :whistle:
