 I rather think an earlier /8 with an updated front grille because of the old style steering wheel which was deleted on the late series I in Marche 1973 about six months before the facelifting.

No way. It's not only the front grille different, it's the whole front. And note the aluminium-frames along the A-pillar. Definitely a 1974+ car.

No. That's their logo: Link to "de.wikipedia.org" Yo mixed it up with the "DGzRS" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Maritime_Search_and_Rescue_Service) ;)

DGzRS: the tough guys with the large speedboats and the helicopters
DLRG: the German Baywatch. Yes, there are hot girls working there, too ;)
