If I understand this correctly, this is a 1966-73 Leyland Royal Tiger with a Den Oudsten LOT body. Also if I understand the dutch sites correctly, there were mainly two versions made; partly LOB (Standaard streekbussen) which is a city bus, and partly LOT (Standaard semitoerbussen) which is a coach. They were mainly made with asymetiric windows like https://www.flickr.com/photos/cklx/4707957691/in/photostream/ and http://www.nicospilt.com/index_bussen.htm but a few had ordinary windows as well. Some of them were used by an American tourist organisation called "Caravan tours", hence this body is sometimes referred to as "Caravan". More information here Link to "www.bus-planet.com" . It was as I expected, it's much easier to search if you know where to look Unfortunately my Dutch is not good at all, but some words can be understood because of similarities between the German-Swedish-English-Dutch language. According to your last link, the 29-series was introduced in 1969. |
