cabin on the left side which fits with Grove

you think something like a TMS model ? seems quite small, in the 25 tonnes range

notice the long front window and seems there are no bars on the side window liek Grove usually have (thumbnail 3)

I agree on 25 tonnes , the Liebherr pictured looks too modern .

Thumb 2 shows a full width cab with engine behind which rules out Kato and Tadano .
Have a feeling it may be British made.

There are some similiarities with the stabilisers and cab to the Grove Allen TMS180 but it's not a match.

JCB please see thumbnail 3

http://pics.imcdb.org/10314/crcraneep456-58c.jpg

there appear to be no pillar near door and the main windshiled looks quite up

Grove do have a pillar on the cabin side

see this cabin does resemble old models Liebherr
http://www.equipmatching.com/uploads/images/26up18be7oc.jpg

so perhaps an old model light weight Leiherr LTM ? where they used in UK ?

Also 2nd thumb in first batch has writing on top surface of jib (pity there's only one jib ...) - I can't read it on screen or get a clearer capture.

JCB were ITALIAN cranes imported in the UK in this period, cos this style of lighter cranes are very popular with italian producers...

'writing' is just grease marks from the wire ropes DSL :)
First thumb there clearly shows a large SINGLE ram under boom which helps a bit .

Mike962 is looking good with his Liebherr LTM.
LT 1045S cab side view here is very similar and has single ram , not exact match but very close.
