zodiac ◊ 2014-09-29 20:16	Would it be at all possible to have a closer look at the side strip. One recognizable feature of the 1957 MY is that it has a separate piece of chrome strip on the B-pillar between the front and the rear door to create continous strip. It was later considered less cost efficient and removed, if I remember it correctly (I was a member of the Swedish Volvo Amazon club for a while and used to drive one from 1960), from 1958 MY onwards.

atom ◊ 2016-09-12 21:55	License plate AA8726. AA = Stockholms stad. It was registred to a 1953 Dodge that belonged to AB Svensk Filmindustri in the beginning of 1957. We could guess the plate was borrowed from a crew car then.
