Its appeared on IMCDb before in The Sillent Enemy...

Royal Navy at Gibralter location so almost certainly the exact same van.

I wasn' t sure wether this was a MC or a Commer. Guess they are local Gibraltar civilain number plates .
Here is a rather nice picture of the van the Rock and a RAF Shackleton I think

From past experience yes, 'G' is used on Gibraltar registered vehicles.
