This is not a 1948 Ford Anglia. It has a prewar grille with the three vertical cells in it .It is a Ford Ten 2-door Touring Car of 1937-1938 ( model 7 W) or 1939 ( E 93 A).These were identical. The Ford Ten was also produced as a 4 door (" double entrance saloon") and this model would become the postwar Prefect with several modifications. |

The E93A reference is not correct, the 7W is. E93A was the Prefect, as introduced in 1939 to replace the 7W Ten. -- Last edit: 2014-12-23 09:15:05 |

The 'Touring Car' description leads one to half expect Jason Plato to be in charge of the 7W. E93A or E493A behind the Zephyr, with a Hillman Californian leading a Phase 1 Vanguard in left background. -- Last edit: 2016-11-30 02:04:33 |
