Bedford, because the commercial version? As in Ireland they have Opel and not Vauxhall, it's no Vauxhall Astra MkII, but an Opel Kadett E. But there was never a Pickup-version of it, named Opel, only the van "Combo". The only Pickup-version was RHD and named Bedford. |

Was it? The Astravan and Astramax are both vans. |

AFAIK there never was an Astra-based pickup. Might this be a Sierra-based Ford P100? |

No. The P100 has a vent behind the door. /vehicle_148827-Ford-P100-1989.html |

And it has the Kadett E headlamps which indicates Opel as the car of origin. |

Owner custom? |

Not? I think, that someday I've seen in the UK an Kadett/Astra Pickup, named Bedford. But it seems, I've mixed it up with the mentioned Sierra-Pickup or the South African Corsa Bakkie... Yes, it must be a mistake, because in this case I would have looked at the back, to see, what and how big letters are on the cargo hatch. |

The plate is visible on Youtube and it comes back as Bedford. Must be a chopped Astravan or Astramax then. -- Last edit: 2013-12-30 05:06:05 |
