Confirmed as Lancashire Constabulary - I've found an early 60s book photo of some North West Motorway Unit vehicles - a collaboration between Staffs (Jag Mk2 - VBF 554), Cheshire (Land Rover - details unclear but looks 109" station wagon), a helicopter, a police bike, and white Lancs Z6 Estate 9526 TF. Same book has another photo of white police Z6 estate on motorway - ATJ 609A, another Lancs plate |
