Rather a Phantom II with body by Kellners. |

"Brougham de Ville" is this bodystyle called, but I am still checking for which chassis and by whom this body was built, but I do not think that this is a Phantom II, as Phantom III or even 25/30HP Wraith are more likely. |

I have found a picture of her in an RREC Bulletin, describing her as a RR 20/25HP "Brougham de Ville". |

Robert, do you have the Chassis-No available? Registration is not listed within the CC-Books |

This is #GUL48 a 1936 25/30HP with Windovers brougham de ville. The reg'n was a fake one for the film. |

This is my 25/30 chassis number GAR62 with the same Windovers Sedanca Devile body as the Death on the Nile car, accept for the fact that my car only has one spare wheel and an enclosed fitted luggage boot, attached to the rear of the body. It would be good to know where the Nile car is now, it looks beautiful. I have never seen another Windovers body the same apart from mine and the Nile car, the colour scheme is original too although the wicker work was not redone on my car when it was repainted in the UK about 2010. My car is now residing in New Zealand and brings us much joy on special outings and always raises a smile from people who see it. -- Last edit: 2016-02-22 22:34:07 |
