I checked the Colombian market for this design but could not come up with anything sold there else than JAC. The design (grill and headlights) is definitely of Chinese origin and you can tell it is Isuzu Elf based as the JAC is. Can you read any of the letters of the text below the windshield? The badge below looks like Jinbei to some extent but they never used this design. |

Perhaps it's just a JAC disguised with false badges. P.S. Judging by the other vehicles in the newest episodes, I presume that the story has only reached the 1980s or 1990s, so an undisguised JAC would be an obvious anachronism. -- Last edit: 2013-04-27 13:28:06 |

The text is probably just a decal EJC-something (EJC=Ejército Nacional de Colombia... it's carrying army troops), like on /vehicle_591277-Daihatsu-Delta.html I agree it looks most like a JAC, though it does seem to be missing a sidemarker. And Gag's right about the anachronism--this is 1992. |
