Mhouais... Si tu l'dis, sortie d'apéro, avec un peu de brouillard et deux ou trois pécos dans l'nez, pitêtre...

Its a Citreon Traction Avant, but without the Citroen logo, so we could brand this as a Made for Movie.

We don't label them as 'made for movie', instead, we put them in the comment sections as 'too generic' or 'unidentifiable'. 'Made for movie' are for vehicles that were specifically built on order for a live-action movie. I'm not sure why Lightning McQueen is labelled as 'made for movie', maybe because he's the main character and it would be unfair not to include him.

Exactly. And also because it is CGI and not just drawing, so a little closer to a real car.

Why? :??:

It's just a cartoon car that resembles nothing in particular so why is it specifically French in origin?

Because the animators were French, I don't know...?

 Belgian. Hergé is classified to the "Brussels School", as Franquin, Jijé and some others http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ligne_claire

Yes, thank you. WTF Lateef.

Hergé was actually in contact with Spielberg -who was a Tintin fan- before his death: Link to "www.deredactie.be"

...wait, it's not the new "Adventures of Tintin" /movie_983193-The-Adventures-of-Tintin.html Spielberg wasn't involved here obviously.

...I've checked imdb and the production company of this cartoon is French, so then I'm completely wrong (I blame ingo) and Lateef wins.

Hah! I schooled you two after all! Hergé had nothing to do with animation of the animated series, he was dead before it was made, although his animated rendition appears in the series. Furthermore, I am a great fan of Tintin, so explain to me how I could've messed that up? LOL

Apart from lacking the grille chevrons it's a Traction Avant. Unclear why they're not drawn in - the other TA has them - but the 2CV grilles have been mucked about as well. Was there a copyright dispute?

Sorry for ditching something this old, but if the problem is the lack of Citroën's chevrons, then why not a La Licorne 415 Rivoli? They used Traction Avant's bodyshell with a different grille
