What's the green car on left in front of the white 600? Looks Wolseley Hornet (or perhaps Riley Elf) - were these sold in I? |

agreed. Riley Elf or Wolseley Hornet. I saw in Italy just one (with italian plate) and was a Mk II or Mk III Riley Elf in a strange sort of medium purple with a white roof. It was parked in late 1978 in a quite elegant street in Rome (near Parioli Quarter) a few meters from the point in which had been kidnapped by the Brigate Rosse nine months before Aldo Moro. A Wolseley Hornet (Mk II) was in a black and white movie of the 60's "Cadavere per signora", with a plate from Genoa and apparently in white or a very light colour with a dark roof. |
