Navigator L (U418) Up to a 2012 model. 2013 models still look the same. Lincoln has been renamed "Lincoln Motor Company" as of December 2012, which was actually its original founding name before being purchased by Ford in 1922. A new Navigator is on the way, expected to arrive around 2014 or 2015. It’s also expected to sport Lincoln’s new design language. Along with the new Navigator, Lincoln will launch the new MKZ, MKS, and a small crossover SUV based on the new Escape. An unknown rear-wheel drive car (possibly a sedan) is confirmed and green-lit for development, but no further news has been released. If these new vehicles do not succeed in turning Lincoln Motor Company around, Ford announced the brand will be shuttered. -- Last edit: 2013-06-09 20:35:50 |

I like the look of the Lincoln Navigator. In my opinion, Ford's major mistake was to discontinue the Town Car. An MKS is just not the same, and customers acknowledge that. I won't be chatting about that again if MKS limousines start to count miles up and survive until 600.000 miles at least, like the predecessor did. Lincoln's new design language - I don't like it much. The Navigator is the only Lincoln I would buy from the current line-up. I don't care if some say it looks dated, it is at least reliable and scores alright in reviews. And I can look at it without feeling I have to hide it from friends or relatives (unlike other models which look plain ugly, in my opinion). |
