India? They produced Premier 118 which was a license version of Fiat 124, but I can't find any pictures of this car (only 118 NE models are on Google etc.)
However, according to this - www.hollywoodpicturecars.com/cars/euro/8228-fiat124b.jpg - it can be Fiat 124, in US version like jplemione has said.

Traffic in India drives on the left so, unless any were exported, all Premier 118s must be right hand drive.

That car is a 1971-1972(no rubber bumpers)Fiat 124 Special Sedan 1400,US-version(1438cc.OHV,76 HP SAE if 1971 model-year and 78 HP SAE if 1972 model-year,both cathalized)of correspondent Fiat 124 Special 1400 for Italian market

Sometime,when in US-(and non)played TV-series came lowered production costs to get cars for play scenes directly at home,was done that trick:pick a car that resembles those that the director would featuring as "wannabe" in the scene,without go on the true locations and play scene with a true locally-made one;recall,at that proposite,the case happened into TV-series"The Bionic Woman":in an episode with(fake)GDR-locations,appears just a Fiat 124 Special US-version of "VOPO"Police Corps that play the role of a "wannabe"VAZ 2103 or 2106(cars never sold in USA),with ;

PS The Premier 118 NE(built since 1986)isn't based on Fiat 124 body,but exactly on ex-1976-1981 Seat 124-D coque,mated not with Fiat-origins engine,but with a 1198 cc of old Nissan Sunny

Also the 2 Rover P6B 3500 back the fake Premier are in US-version(1969-1970 model-year,note overriders shape on bumpers)

At least they tried to get as close a match as possible instead of just using something unfamiliar to US audiences, as Alias often did (a 1960s Fiat truck supposedly in India for instance). I once saw an episode of Airwolf set in East Germany which showed East German people driving Volkswagens and BMWs, because everyone knows they're German cars and who cares they come from the wrong part of Germany? :)

And in "A-Team"another blooper:an Autobianchi Bianchina US-version disguised as a Trabi,always in fake GDR locations(US-rebuild)
