Ian Chesteron's (William Russell) car in the broadcast version of "An Unearthly Child". In the original unaired pilot version he has a different car: /vehicle_522431.html The 4th thumbnail shows the hood ornament, unfortunately it's quite blurry. This is not actually a whole car. In the information subtitles on the DVD it says "The design team made it clear that they just wanted the front half of a 1947 10 horsepower car, mounted on castors." -- Last edit: 2012-08-14 00:42:20 |

From the hood ornament it looks like maybe Lea-Francis? or else lanchester? Not really sure. |

Looks as if it might have a lot of early splitscreen Morris Minor in the recipe - quarterlights, dashboard etc??? |

The dashboard gives it away as a 1949-53 Wolseley. As far as I can tell by these shots, it can be either a 4/50 or a 6/80. |

As nearly 3x as many were made I'll put 6/80 as default. |
