Known as Cortina (not Consul Cortina) in Norway. And that should justify the "Made for...." or else it should be removed by an admin, I can no longer edit this. |

^ Was Sept 62-Sept 64 name in Norway Cortina or Consul Cortina? AFAIK everywhere was Consul Cortina in this period, then changed to Cortina everywhere, including remainder of Mk1 period Oct 64 - Sept 66 (with minor facelift with new grille, pillar vents etc). Agree this is first version of Mk1. |

A quick web search verified the naming: http://www.cortinaklubben.no/ (click on Mk1) or http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Cortina So at least called Cortina in Norway an in Sweden. For what it's worth. Edit: Also found http://www.oddarismodellbiler.net/16910925?i=19247663 where the bonnet clearly says "Consul". Leave name as it is for now. -- Last edit: 2012-05-31 02:48:19 |
