Another (white one) 1966 Syrena 104: Weasel1984 Edit: I've added name of car - I've just noticed that they are a bit different. -- Last edit: 2007-01-16 23:23:16 (Weasel1984) |

I might have missed the discussion, as the comments went with the separate page. Could you recall why it is a 104 and not 105? I ask specifically as up to the 104 the Syrena was produced at the FSO plant (1958-72), but the 105 at the FSM plant (1972-83). |

Yes, at the FSM as 105 from 1972 to 1983, but this movie is from 1970/71, so it must be 1966 FSO 104. -- Last edit: 2006-09-01 14:41:07 |

I am very sorry, I should have copied those here when copying the picture |

That is a very good hint! Thank you! I shouldn't switch between writing papers and comments here! |

syrena 105 have doors mounted in the front rather than in the back of door frame like older models. my Dad has got 1983 105 Lux ;-) sold in 1993 unfortunately ;p |

Yes, it's true, it was the most visible difference. "Lux" , brzmi jak niezły... wypas. Na samą myśl o niej słyszę ten głuchy warkot. BTW. I've made a mistake, judging by the reminiscence of side trim, the car on the main pic is '63 '103' not '104', sorry. The second Syrena is 104, but it can stay in comments, because isn't important in movie. I will only edit post of Antoine and add info about it. -- Last edit: 2007-01-16 23:22:08 |

Isn't better photo of Syrena's front on Nysa 501 page /vehicle_67122-Nysa-501-1964.html ? |

It is, but here the shape of what was originally the chromed side stripe is visible, and it confirms the version. In times when I added this pic I thought that such trim was rare, it was generally first Syrena sedan here, as remember. Edit: I didn't find better pic of this Syrena than this one and the one, which is already used for the Nysa 501 F and Żuk. Anyway here are some additional pics : -- Last edit: 2009-04-06 05:19:56 |
