Wiki research reveals this car is a Hertford or a York, being a 6-light, or a Chalfont if it features an interior division. (The 4-light car was the Westminster, apparently.) Evidently, pressed steel 'Easiclean' wheels were introduced for 1937, before the model was replaced by the Norfolk-type model with 'modern' coachwork. So, Raul's 'circa' seems spot-on 1937. As this example is looking a bit ragged in the 1960s, it has probably not survived into preservation, alas. |
