Could it be this car http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C256040# ?
That is with just a few changes (other wheels, stretched rear wings, different windscreen side lamps) but the same body, doors, cabriolet, windscreen, head lamps and front wings.

DVLA dates for pre-1925 cars are often unreliable. It was only about 1920 onwards that national records started to replace local files - in this case I suspect the 1921 date was when the first national record for CC 41 was created. A date of 1912 is therefore easily possible.

Records of the first issues of each year are available for Caernarvon County Council, with the exception of the years 1922 to 1928. The CC XXXX series began (At CC 1) in January 1904 along with most of the other original 1903 issues. In January 1905 the series had reached CC 102, so the registration number on this car is probably a transfer from an earlier car first registered in 1904, which happened quite often in this period. The use of the registration for dating purposes is therefore not possible.

The car appears to have electric lighting, which was not standardised, along with electric starting, until 1919, but this could have been fitted at any time during its life, and possibly when the replica London - Edinburgh coachwork was fitted.

It is still possible to move registrations from car to car in mainland Britain, my own car, first registered 2012, carries an apparently 1997 plate, which happens to incorporate my initials.

The cowl taper is different on that example - enough so to suggest that the entire car was rebodied if it's the same car. Unlikely.

It seems the Roi-des-Belges coachwork was fitted after the Magnificent Men film was made. This would get the chronology right, although it does seem strange to re-body with a more old fashioned design.

This car is a 1912 40/50, with nickel fittings, chassis number 1962. First registered CC 41 built as a Tourer by Cockshoot then followed with another Tourer body by Allard, (it was not uncommon in these early days to swap bodies from other cars or rebuild bodies to make them look more modern). By 1916 with its third owner J.H.Bromow it was used as a service vehicle in the War. In 1919 it was taken in part exchange by W.T.Aked Ltd, Lytham St.Annes and converted into a breakdown truck and used in this form until 1947. Then sold on and at some time during the next three owners it was re-bodied as another Tourer by Jarvis and reregistered FM-425.
Hope this helps a bit.
